Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Gets A Reduction In Price Relatively Soon By Verizon

Back in February, when the game was finally released Xperia, had a lot of people excited to see a mobile game led to the U.S. centered. And why not? Game remains one of the main activities in smart phones, and if it was not all that annoying sliding glass, it is likely that the above work, right? Well, maybe not, since the D-pad with Xperia game has been presented to lower prices rather embarrassing, from $ 100 on contract from Verizon.

With only two months on the market, it is half of what the play Xperia bath in May, when it was launched. There are probably a number of factors to consider in understanding why the game is not exactly a mega-success. For one, it was delayed Xperia Play at the launch, which calmed the hype instead of anticipation building. Then there is the selection of games. Real players are used to having the world at your fingertips. With a Nintendo DS or PSP, you have access to more games than you could ever play for Xperia Play was launched with only 50 Play-optimized titles. It failed to attract players in the first month or telephones, the accessibility (in Europe), even the highest-selling game has just passed the 1000 units sold.

Here's what boils down to this: the phones are one of, if not the most important thing we wear every day. We use them for almost everything. So when someone goes in search of a new Verizon phone, the Xperia Play shouts "If you're not a gamer, you probably do not need the D-pad or in bulk. Moving Forward and move along. " At the same time when a player goes into play, Verizon probably will not catch much of their attention. But it could replace their Nintendo DS or PSP? With titles limited, probably not. Xperia games are a line between the two consumer segments, but not effectively reach each side.

There is no argument that the specifications of this phone is pretty sweet: Pan of Android 2.3, better graphics, a Sony PSP, a high D-pad, 5 megapixel camera and a handle rear front for video chat. Maybe it was the price that has kept people coming together on the phone, especially since not support 4G. But the price should certainly not be a problem now - if you want to play but could not raise the money, now is the time for games.
