UK operations, today announced the Acer Aspire 5755 notebook designed for the entire performance, including games and multimedia tasks. It sports a base Sandy Bridge, and because "the design is now a major part of the equation" when it comes to computers, Acer laptop is dressed in a glossy cover with a "modulated stripes sexy model more color options" as brown, black, red and blue.
Sandy Bridge processor options run the gamut from a Core i3 2310M, up to a 2820QM Core i7 processors with several in between. Aspire 5755 supports up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, a 15.6-inch HD (1366x768) LED-backlit display, Nvidia GeForce GT 540-Optimus technology, up to a 1 TB hard drive, multi- card reader, 8x DVD-Writer (optional Blu-Ray), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, HDMI, optional Intel Wireless Display (WiDi), Dolby Advanced Audio v2, multi-gesture touchpad, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Aspire 5755 is available today in England for about $ 1445. No word on when it will land Stateside or how much.
