When You Hack The Sony Is Looking For Traces Of Anonymous Group


(CNN) - Sony has revealed the file may be related by Anonymous, a group of renegade hackers see the violation that led to the theft of personal information up to 101 million people, the company wrote a letter to the UP Congress.


Trials, which lasted two weeks so far, not many in line on-line, Sony has found a file in the system, called Anonymous, which included a group of some sort of slogan, "We are legion," he wrote Kazuo Hirai , Sony Computer Entertainment America and president of the Chamber.


The file was found on a server operated by Sony Online Entertainment, a subsidiary that makes online multiplayer games for PC and PlayStation 3


Sony Online initially thought was not affected by intrusions affecting sister companies, but researchers have found that their data was also taken during the attack two months last days.


Sony Online, which sells subscription-based games like "EverQuest" and "DC Universe Online," has made its line of systems on Monday morning at 4:38 ET, and reveals the invasion during the day, said a spokesman. Anonymous file was found on Sunday, when Sony said that the data was taken at Sony Online server, but declined to say why the company did not initially mention the file.


Anonymous has gained international notoriety in recent years for his attacks on computer security to large enterprises. The group disappeared after MasterCard, Visa, the Church of Scientology and the websites of Government of Tunisia and Egypt. Many targets are chosen for political or philosophical.


Sony is in the spotlight Anonymous "early last month in retaliation for prosecuting two people who were distributing instructions on how to hack a Playstation 3. Hirai said in his letter that Anonymous members contributed to the overloading of servers Sony A consistent practice ping a web address called denial of service attack.


"You have abused the legal system in an attempt to censor information on how your products work," a representative for the group wrote in an open letter to Sony on their website. "In doing so, you've violated the privacy of thousands of innocent people who only sought the free distribution of information."


Anonymous Now, Sony has helped to facilitate the theft of millions of people in the private data.


"This attack came shortly after Sony Computer Entertainment America cyber have been denial of service attacks against several companies Sony and threats to both Sony and its leaders," Hirai wrote in response to an inquiry of Congress. "Let those who participated in a denial of service have been complicit or have simply been duped into providing cover for a thief very smart, we'll never know."


Anonymous posted an update to its website, after Sony closed its PlayStation Network and Qriocity media streaming service, entitled "For once we have not." Statement read: "While it might be the case that other Anon acted alone AnonOps wa (sic) not related to this incident and takes no responsiblity (sic) it."


Sony says it is working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and security experts to analyze the situation. They have not yet identified the perpetrators of the infringement.
