Woodward 2011: Muscle Cars Light The Fires At The Dream Cruise

There should be no doubt: Classic American Muscle Cars is the bread Woodward dream cruise. And why not? These machines do not hear back when horsepower was king, nameplates like the Mustang, Camaro, GTO and the charger started to roll off the tongue, and Detroit was at the forefront of the automotive world.

That said, we noticed an interesting trend in recent years. Modern muscle is a bigger holiday than ever before, a fact that can probably be attributed to increased quality and performance of today's cultures offers a great power. Of course, you'll see a lot of muscle from Detroit in the 1960s right through today in the photo gallery of the Woodward Dream Cruise 2011.

We would like to take a moment to explain the definition of muscle cars. We mostly cut out the story of Detroit in two segments: the classics, and muscle, using 1964, the first year of an innovative Pontiac GTO, as the line of demarcation. Two seats, four or five places, two or four doors, modern or vintage - these are the cars, instead of a straight-line performance, especially ... and love them.

We went ahead and scored all vehicles, but if you go one or two years, some of them, and we apologize in advance for all you hardcore muscle car enthusiasts in there ... When all this in mind, enjoy the gallery!
