IFA 2011: What To Expect From This Year's Show

IFA, the world's largest consumer electronics and home appliances show opens its doors to 51 time, 1 September 2011.

For five days, agitated, this great annual spectacle of all things electronic redefine the landscape of consumer electronics for the next 12 months.

So we're happy? Of course! Read on to learn why the IFA 2011 could be the biggest in years.

First IFA

IFA is not a sample gadget. This is a technology event on a huge scale. Last year, the International Funkausstellung Berlin drew over 230,000 visitors. And yes, it is open to the public.

In fact, the IFA, the site is so big it has its own transportation system to help people move. More participants, and the CES show, we can legitimately claim to be the largest technology show in the world.

Surprisingly, the first show opened in 1924. Since then he has seen many milestones tech.

In 1930, Albert Einstein gave a speech on the future of radio, five years later, the event brought the first tape recording. In 1967, the PAL color TV made its debut and in 1981 the CD was unveiled before an audience curious. It was at the IFA in 1995 that European television stations began showing of digital television for the first time.

So what will be the IFA 2011 will be remembered for?

Buzzwords Big

Of course, major brands such as product announcements and developments close to his chest as they prepare for a big IFA show on September 1. In the, meantime, rumors and speculation about the spirit of the game. That said, it is not too difficult to predict the direction of the winds that blow in Tech.

The big buzzwords bouncing through the halls of the IFA 2011 will be (in no particular order) 4K2K, intelligent television, and of course 3D autostereocopic tablets. Feel free to mix and to produce all these imaginary device of choice.

Those who hoped that the car in 3D would be at least develop a slow puncture (yes, surprisingly there are some opponents still there) will probably be disappointed. Large 3D TV makers will all be better than ever Hawking third-generation displays.

One of the highlights you can expect to see the Panasonic brand, has managed some incredible new 3D Plasma 152inch. We have already preview this monster, and I can confirm that the dish is simply the finest on the planet.

Panasonic has long been a very impractical for the production of plasma (just as you can), and this is the most ambitious display. Active 4K resolution of 800,000 pixels Shutter panel, the last demo, we watched open-mouthed amazement as scaled to the standard Avatar 3D Panasonic Blu-ray.

2011 has already been seen on tv smart, like Samsung and LG, and this message is only likely to deepen the IFA 2011. Although Ethernet has become de rigueur for every type of equipment EC, Wi-Fi add-on is difficult. However, the IFA, a dongle will go away of the Dodo, as the construction-in will become the new exit.

Development of the tablet

Naturally, the tablets will be everywhere at IFA 2011, with dozens of cookie-cutter board in hand. What will be new, however, is how they will be placed. Many of these handsets will be promoted as a second television screen next.

TABLET FRENZY: A new wave of tablet devices will start to improve TV experience

IFA 2010 Samsung used the launch of Samsung's original Galaxy tab and it seems the company will use this year's show to set up a monitoring system - the Samsung Galaxy P. The rumor is that it is a "tabphone" is half pads, half of the phone. Read more about Samsung's Q Galaxy here.

Samsung also showed off a couple of tablets, video teaser, too.

We will also see a new Intel Ultrabook Acer (essentially a MacBook Air-style machine), and Samsung potentially - the Korean giant usually brings a lot of laptops at IFA this year and seems to be no exception - as usual, there is a special press conference for all of your computer.

We expect that the form of tablets, and equipment information for a variety of other manufacturers such as Lenovo and Toshiba.

Sony will also be unveiled his tablets and S1 and S2. S1 could be known as Sony Tablet S. It would also be nice if HTC would show us the HTC Puccini compressed, too.

We know that the first tablet Panasonic, you can use the VIERA IPTV Connect directly to the store Apps, and acts as a supercharged remote control switches on the display.

What about phones?

IFA is not traditionally an entertainment phone, but Samsung has launched phones before the show, while conveniently search for the show is set up with Windows Phone Mango.

September is a mango, and it is very probable that ', HTC Samsung and others try the IFA in 2011 to reveal their hardware.

Samsung has already anticipated the show with Samsung Galaxy Pro M, Y, Y Galaxy Galaxy Pro Samsung

Back to the Future

IFA has a habit of repeating itself. So expect the uber-cool products unveiled at IFA 2010, but still conspicuous by their absence in the real world, turning refreshed. We'll bet dollars to donuts that you will witness the second coming of television stories Nano LG LED, but this time with 3D passive film replacement system for the Active Shutter 3D technology they were originally shown with.

Back: first shown last year, but not yet for sale, LG Nano LED screens are 3D makeover liability in the IFA

Of course, LG is still unlikely that the speed of the ship shilling soon. We anticipate that the light in the room will be the first big-screen LG 4K2K 3D visualization. This will be the exclusive use of the mark Rwandan Patriotic Front (movie Delay reason) of the filter through, and the 4K resolution of the top panel will be able to produce the first full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) Liabilities 3D images.

LG has announced that it is a large part of the IFA 2011 is think about how you can push his plasma TV in the "new and exciting directions."

"Through our continued commitment to the plasma, we have to invent technology that has elevated plasma levels of image quality to new levels, and helped rejuvenate the size of the plasma TV market," says Kim HEUI-seob, executive vice president Plasma and director of LG Electronics.

"At IFA 2011, which will have the opportunity to show European consumers the true potential of plasma, and how to set the pace of innovation that provide real improvements in how users can view and interact with their TV."

Strangely enough, LG has also revealed the mouse and scanner combination device, which debuted at the show.

Samsung rival LG is not always used IFA to launch new AV kit parts, reserving the privilege for the event in January at CES (and using the show to launch a large number of computer kit in place). However, the company wants to steal a title or two. One way you could do is take the veil on its own technology for radically new 3D TV.

The brand is known to have reached an agreement with pioneering 3D Real D to create a new generation of monitors that offer the full HD 3D using passive polarizing glasses. No special requirements were announced, but by moving technology LCD panel formwork and away from high-tech Eyeware, the label released from the shackles of expensive glasses active shutter.

Sony, Samsung and Panasonic have also shown that they are doing active shutter again with the announcement of a new series with Xpand initiative. Expect more details about the program, even though 2012 is more likely to launch.

More room Toshiba, there will certainly be a massive strain on autostereoscopic (no glasses required) 3D. We expect Toshiba will demonstrate a breakthrough 3D Auto 55inch screen. The company has already touted the prototype and seems determined to make television autostereocopic happen. Of course, you will not be able to buy one until at least 2012.

At the same time Hanspreee announced that will bring a new generation of Apple-style TV show.

More Smart TV

The IFA 2011 is not just hardware, though. Reflecting the increase in smart devices will be a new emphasis on applications and content.

British Samsung AV marketing manager Russell Owens said that the IFA 2011 is anything more than a simple kit. "You can be assured, applications and services should be a big problem for this year's event," he said.

Sony spokeswoman Lucie Special, agrees, saying that the Sony IFA 2011 will be to "find new services and, above all, to experiment with digital content in ways that have not been seen before." He adds, "are the central themes of connectivity, mobility, entertainment, and the following operations in 3D."

We can not wait.
