Revised 2012 Chevrolet Impala Net 30 Mpg On The Highway

Chevrolet Impala has not been many updates since it last received a check in 2006, but the changes for 2012, at least in the engine. As we said in May, otherwise pristine Impala is General Motors, tried and true 3.6-liter V6 in 2012. Direct injection engine boasts 302 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque - far from the-211 horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 it replaces. Heck, even optional 3.9-liter V6 could only assemble 230 horsepower.

Sweeten the pot a little ', the Environmental Protection Agency Web site now is to ensure that the 2012 Impala can hit 30 miles per gallon highway.
