Sehwag Has Been Dropped Catches Cost Us The Game: Sangakkara

Deccan Chargers captain Kumar Sangakkara believes the two missed opportunities for the Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag cost his side the match.

On the way to his match-winning 56-ball 119, Sehwag was released twice - first by Ankit Sharma and Ravi Teja Dwarka - Madrid that helped chase a stiff target of 175 runs with four wickets in hand last night.

"I do not think there's something to do with luck. We had two opportunities to take Viru (Sehwag), if we took the catch to be won. He made a point that is costing us games," a pallid Sangakkara vented their feelings in the press conference after the game.

"If you miss the catch, class batsman Sehwag makes you pay. If you do not hold the possibility that you can create, especially when you have wicket, it is very difficult to win matches."

However, the captain of the Deccan would not take any credit away from Sehwag glossy sleeves.
