Operators Could Face In The Mobile Technology For Contactless Payment First

British consumers would benefit from a contactless payment system for the first time in the market may have to trade in their phones and move to Orange.

Network, in conjunction with Barclaycard, has announced the launch of Quick Tap, designed to offer its customers to purchase goods in the street with their phones.

Transactions up to £ 15 can be solved by applying a rapid Press compatible mobile phone at an electronic reader.

More than 50,000 stores across the country have signed on to support the technology.

David Chan, CEO of Barclaycard Consumer Europe, said: "[people] can do, knowing that this is a safe technique brought them the biggest names in the payments and mobile technology."

Earlier this month, Orange has confirmed that it is solely for the storage device Atrix Motorola, which has been called the world's most powerful smartphone.
