Toshiba Regza WL And Television YL Bring Facial Recognition And 3D Conversion

This may seem like a nickname for a graying Cockney boxer, but Toshiba Regza line of TVs should be taken seriously (even if we would have taken very seriously for the boxer). Toshiba has been showing its new WL and YL Series LCD TV, and they look like high Tosh Tellier.

They will be the first to come to television in the UK with the engine 'Cevo "Toshiba - a multi-core processor T estimates of big blow your mind right in the back of his head with his stunning image quality. Converting 2D to 3D is one of the towers Cevo - calculations of data at high speed to convert 2D images into 3D negligible new glorious age on the fly, so you can watch movies in 3D, although it has the Blu-ray or DVD .

To be honest, we've never seen from 2D to 3D conversion done very well - it tends to make even the most handsome of the heroes of Hollywood like 3D amorphous blob. We hope that Toshiba can do better, since little actual 3D content, the ability to convert movies into 3D would be really helpful even watchable.

Toshiba says Cevo is also able to fight the dark shot active 3D annoying evil. Wear glasses tend to ignore the big picture, looking dull and boring. We would be surprised if this stuff ends up in the panel is always clear as a 2D display, but every little bit helps.

These TVs feature built-in access to sites with Toshiba - a web service that allows you to access things like online music, video and social applications from your television. We went with my hands in places already, and we have our reservations about the quantity and quality of content, but there is still time for Toshiba to get more partners on board. Above all, we have BBC iPlayer.

Both sides have tellies, so that when you walk into the room the TV to recognize you and cook to pay a deadly laser bolts. Okay, it automatically switches to your personal profile to include a custom video and audio settings as well as a personal channel list. Nifty.

WL and YL REGZA TV-series are 42-inch, 46-inch flavors and 55 inches, and hits stores in August. Check the preview of the first LL REGZA series adds.
