Last Rites On Khandu Gyangkhar Village


The last rites Arunchal Pradesh chief minister Dorjee Khandu be made in her village in Tawang district Gyangkhar by Monpa Buddhist traditions.

In accordance with traditional practices, the flames generally prescribe procedures for the last rites on the basis of good and evil deeds of a deceased person, a close associate of Mr. Khandu and Sahitya Akademi Yeshe Dorje member Thongchai said.

Three Bodies Found In The Presumed Crash Site Of Chopper Arunachal Pradesh CM


Three bodies have been seen today, with the wreckage of a helicopter on the way to place the air transported Arunachal Pradesh Dorjee Khandu prime minister and four others had been taken and it is feared the worst.

Mr. Chidambaram said a military team was sent on foot to the crash site and "we will learn more about the place of accident and the body lying there once they get there."


The place is at an altitude of 4900 meters, so it will take some time and trouble to get there, "he said.


"When they get there, they communicate with us what they found there," said Interior Minister, adding that he was able to say that this type of aircraft or whose bodies were.


"But I'm afraid it's a chopper street after she had gone to Tawang. We keep our fingers crossed and wait for the official from the team," he said.


The single-engine four-seater Pawan Hans helicopter with Mr. Khandu and four other occupants have disappeared shortly after the start of Tawang Saturday.


In addition to Mr. Khandu, others on board were the pilot of Captain JS Babbar, Captain TS Mamiko security officer Mr Yeshi Yeshi Khandu and Choddak Lhamu, sister of Deputy Tsewang Dhondup Tawang.


Poor weather prevented the team to conduct an aerial search.
